E92 335
E92 335
Hi.
Anyone familiar with how tunes for these cars work? Is it actually visible or just a program add-on to the current ECU.
Is it possible to hide it somehow or make it unnoticable for the car to appear "stock"?
Got killed by a "stock" E92 335 a few days ago. I killed two stock 335's before when i was stock and when I was modded. This 335 was either special or the car is "stock"
.
Here is the video - http://videos.streetfire.net/video/3...amg_188819.htm
I'm not necesarly present in it
I was pretty surprised.
Video shot in Mexico.
*Edit: Here is the video when I was in same condition and the 335 was "stageII" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnLDJNJnkvU
He pulls me the same in first two rolls of the first video as he does in the youtube video. (Except in the first vid he breaks earlier).
Appears like this 335 is beating me in "stock" form same as it was in "stageII".

The car is stock
The car was stock, you can ask any one brandon, mike and everyone else i raced before. Why would i race you and tell you i was chipped and then tell you i was stock and then race you with a chip.if i was to do that i would tell you from the beggining i was stock since i got the car.If you want I can get my car serviced and race you right afterwards so you can know i am not chipped.AnywaYS GOOD RUN

I have now raced two 335s and one 535. Two (the 535 and one 335) were highway runs. One of the 335s was a run from about 20-60. On the highway, I pulled the 335 and 535 easily (roughly a carlength every 3 seconds of the run). The 20-60 run was a little closer (I maybe pulled 2-3 CLs). Actually, of the three runs, I was most surprised by the 535. It seemed just as quick as the 335.
Anyway, watching the vid, either that 335 is not stock or there is something seriously wrong with that C32.
I really do like the look of the 335 though. Especially the coupe in a dark grey. Saw one nicely lowered with some HREs. Have to say it was a very sweet looking ride.

I disagree, even though alot of 335's have piggybacks, by no means does every one. If I had to guess, I would say that less than 5% of all 335's have some sort of tune.
I have ran 335's before they are stout when modded w/Juicebox3 or V3 ECU & high octane ie 95-100 they run DEAD even w/STOCK E55 kompressor's another race I know of was w/Renntech stg 1 E55k vs J3 335i the 335 barely lost by 1.5 car lengths from about 50-120ish
Plenty modded 335's have run 113-116mph traps @ 12.3x-12.5x Doubt MANY(not saying all) modded C32's can do this, as I know Fongflex(?name) thru down a nice 12.4x @ 114mph+ I'm not certain exactly of his times but I know they were the strongest modded C32 times I've ever seen on this forum.
I can't seem to locate the modded 335 w/116 trap but here's 1 in the low 12's

Hey guys, I just wana let everyone know that my car has a faulty cat and the 335 is stock in this video. I bashed a friend who helped me with my car when I needed advice and doubted my other friends who confirmed he was stock. This was egoistic of me and I apoligise for raising this issue in a forum.
I ran low 14's last night and the previous time I ran the car in hotter and more humid weather my best time was 13.4xx. Took the car to an exhaust shop today and they said I had a faulty cat converter.
Well just wanted to set it straight. See yal!
