My friend Carlos and His Self Kill...
My buddy in Florida got into racing a road course type track over the last few months and recently decided to 1/4 mile his M3.
This is where he learned 1310 reasons not to take your M3 to the dragstrip.........a long video, but totally worth watching.

It wasnt the axle, i bet he droped the clutch which caused the splines on the axle to shave right off due to shock. If he preloaded the axle and clutch and launched the vehichle, it would have been fine. I speak from experience.
