On the way to Famoso killed a GT-R!
Here's what Blueknight posted on another thread about this encounter.
"Hey Guys bassn_07 and I just arrived in Bakersfield and staying at the Hampton Inn. We had a blast coming down as we ran into a GT-R and played a little on I5. I think this guy really didn't know how to race as i actually had to stick my arm to get him to slow down and for us to line up. Well he decides to get on it before we could do the 3 honk rule, so Alan (bassn_07) jumps on it and bye-bye GT-R beat him by a good car length in a very short distance. If we could have started at the same time Alan would have pulled maybe 2-3 car lengths, excellent kill. "
This really made time fly. We chased the guys through traffic for a good 10 miles or so. He just wouldn't slow down. After some long hard miles we finally got him to line up. We slowed to about 40 and ended at a estimated 120+. I was thinking it would be someone at the Famoso event.

Dude what just happened in your post? Who is Alan? What ran the GTR, what mods did both cars have?

As for the car, obviously it's a E55 AMG vs Nissan GT-R and in my signature (bassn_07)says 06 E55 AMG.
As for mods, I have VRP's 600 package and who knows what the guys in the GT-R has.

Not sure on how hp I have to the rear but my cars best 1/4 mile time is 11.492 @ 122. I would guess somewhere close to 500 rwhp.
As for being safe, I usually hate street racing but how often do you get a chance to run down a GT-R.

I raced only a couple of Z06's at the track but they were having traction issues. I recently raced a pumped up C5 Z06 and lost by .003, my time on street tire were 11.569 and his 11.563. He beat me on the R/T.

GTR's are awesome cars.. whether it's not a fast a c6z06, 911TT ect.
I would love to own one a used GT-R.. over a used P-car or Z06
its way more practical and easier to drive.
