02 CLK 55 AMG,09 C63 loaded with P30
02 Clk55 vs 04 C5 Vette auto
Both cars are stock. From 0-85 my Clk55 had the Vette by 2cars. Same outcome the second time. Right from the dig I feather the gas and floored it I instantly walk the Vette. I thought the Vette would give a better fight because of the 32xxlbs 350hp.

Your credibility is *zero*, but it sounds like a driver's race. Similar power & similar weight -- close enough that if he didn't know how to launch, you've got a chance. I would bet he'd take you from a roll though. Gearing's not a huge issue for the vette since its powerband is so broad.

i believe the pull, not 2 CLs though, and the LS1 motor in that car has better topend, and regardless of gearing, should have started to pull back uptop. eitherway, nice kill

You guys have no idea about Vettes
Like I said it was a 4spd auto most likely a 2.73 axle ratio. It also comes with a 3.2 axle ratio. The 6spd manual comes with a 3.42 axle. the manual does low 13s@108+mph. The auto mid 13s or better @105+. I had to feather the gas because of my skinny 245s tires. The Vette comes with 275s thats what I need!
