Got killed (C32 AMG) by 997 turbo and E63
I got killed twice today...
997 Turbo...i didn't stand a chance from 40 mph roll to 100+mph...it walked away from me like i was standing still... by the time i reached 100mph he would have been at 120+mph...those P cars are quick eh???
E63....even steven until 60mph and it gained 2 cars length at 100mph...
just one of those things that made me fell OUT of love my my C32...still a great car though but can't keep up with today's "young bucks"
either way i think the loss were fair enough considering the opponents of today's high speed excursions
there are always gonna be fater cars out there
, i drove my friend R34 GTR the other day with meaty turbos and the lot...600 whp...god damn the C32 felt slow..although he always sympathise to me of how "comfy" the c32 is around the city block and still give "respectable" performance given its luxuries and comfort when compared to the GTR...i think the GTR would kill the 997 turbo and the E63 easily

You are comparing the C32 to a supercar and the 2nd fastest production sedan in the world if I am correct. If you pick your opponents right you will be more satisfied with the sleeper.

Well, sounds like you did just fine. First the P-car 997 turbo is extremely quick bone stock and if it has been modded at all, will be devastatingly fast. i.e. I have an old friend whose modded 997 turbo trapped a 10.99 ET in the 1/4 last year. That same day, same track and same conditions, my bone stock C32 trapped a 13.54 ET. 2.5 seconds at 100 mph is like over 120 yards (366 ft) in car lengths ahead, lol. More than a football field. I now have the C3P pulley as well and while have not raced it yet, estimate that it might trap a low 13's ET now in the 13.1-13.2 range. So getting dusted by the 997 is no shame.
As for the E63, it sounds to me that you held your own well. I would be pleased to keep an E63 that close to me.
