Nice race, your C32 runs good. Your buddy have any mods planned for the goat? Throw a nice set of Long Tubes, some 3.90 gears in the rear end, tune it and that thing will RIP.

eh those things are heavy. i bet i'd pull on a LS1 or LS2 goat with headers gears and tune......already dead even with my buddy's LS1 camaro w/ headers, lid, tune, and y-pipe.....and his is a factor freak. i'm pretty sure full bolt on goats don't trap more than 112, at least where I live in AZ (where DA is 4K+ and gas is 91)

most people don't know anything about what a shorter gear will do for a heavier car. A 6.0 goat with 3.90s out back can be QUICK. They're actually not THAT heavy comapred with some of the new stuff that is out there. 6spds weigh in at 3725, isn't that about what the E92 M3 weighs? I agree though that when you have a heavy car, you're always at a disadvantage when playing the speed game. That's why I sold mine and got back into a Vette. I weigh a hair over 3100 lbs. It's amazing what less power in a lighter car can get you......and what A LOT of power in a light car can do too.

THAT is the honest truth! haha..

and yah, at the time, they were/are heavy.....i guess now when you compare them to the new G8 GXP and the new Camaro, the goat's have dieted. haha

Yep, it's VERY rare to see manufacturers caring about weight these days. Most cars just keep getting heavier and heavier.
