2002 C32 Black/Charcoal
Modded C32 has five good runs in one week!

The following were all south of the border, of course:

Mitsu Evo: Close, short run. Started from about 60 up to about 100. He pulled a little at first (maybe a fender) as we started just fast enough that my C32 did not downshift into 2nd. For the first couple of seconds, he was hanging. However, as I hit the meat of 3rd gear (roughly 80 MPH in the C32) I started to pull him pretty well. By 100, I had a car on him. Good run. Very similar to run with Magnum SRT8 (see below)

Dodge Magnum Hemi (not SRT8): Bloodbath from 40 or so to 80, at which point I had him by a bus.

C6 Vette: Freeway entrance (one lane) run from 20 to about 80. He was not pulling, but nor was I catching him. Not sure how it would have ended up if we had more space. Performance seemed to be very close.

Dodge Magnum SRT8: From 50 to 100. He hit it first, and jumped about 1/2 car. By 100, I had him by a car and was starting to pull decently, but in no way, shape, or form was it a slaughter. Pretty fricking impressive for a 4300 lb wagon! I was surprised how much faster the SRT8 is than the Hemi Magnum.

C5 Vette: From 20 to 70. Not quite as bad of a kill as the Hemi Magnum, but pretty bad. Had him by at least two cars and pulling fast.

As far as I know, all of the above cars were stock. The only one I have some doubts about was the SRT8 Magnum. I thought that I would pull a stock one harder than I did.

Funny, last good run I had was like two months ago, then five in one week! Either I am feeling agro, or everyone else is!

nice runs! the C6s can be quick or quicker depending if they have the LS2 or LS3 motor.

What mods are on your C32?

Not sure which C6 it was. Certainly not a Z06, as I would have been watching tailights disappear into the sunset.

Mods are: Evosport pulley (178mm, I think), Powerchips, SL55 splitter, wires, plugs, K&Ns, lighter wheels, Optima, resonator delete.

certainly not the Z06. the newer C6s come with LS3s and the older ones with LS2s. you probably raced an LS2 judging by your mods and outcome. nice runs though!

and about the SRT8.....there are some factory freaks that are very quick. there was a crazy thread a while ago about some SRT8 magnum beating up on a stageII C32, but who knows.....either way, he got the jump, a half car, and its not easy catching up when someone already has a jump on you

V-Man, any idea how much power your C32 is putting to the ground. Your mods are similar to mine (minus the power chip). My cuz has a SRT-8 Charger and I would love to bust him but want to make sure I am ready before hand, lol. Right now I would guess it would be close and go to the guy who got the jump. I have timed my car 0-60 in 4.5 sec and 0-100 in 12 but that was in cooler weather with the ac off but also with two lads in the car. btw- good kills.

Nice runs. The SRT-8 was in it's powerband in 2nd so that sounds pretty much spot on.
