09 CLK550 VS 2009 NISMO 370Z

So i was in Mexico visiting my friend and he Just got a brand spanking new Nismo 370Z.
We did about 4 40 mph runs, i had a 250lbs passenger 370Z had only the driver.
Considering my clk is 3700lbs + me 180 + 250=4130 and he had a 3200lbs + 160= 3360 i thought he might take me with his 350hp engine.
I took him by about 3-4 cars i guess my TQ played a big roll pulling this much weight.
He also ran moded Evo 9 i ran and beat by about 6 cars, his 370Z lost to EVO9 by half a car but thats whith just drivers no passengers.
i have a few videos i will try to make them more visible since video was recorded on Blackberry.

Nice. Automatic Z or stick? How is his shifting? How many miles and was he shifting at redline?

Interesting matchup. My G37 has 20hp less and weighs about 300-400lbs more and I think my G37 is pretty quick. These Jap cars just don't have the TQ .

The importance of TQ figures is overrated unless you're towing something...now that's not to say it isn't both fun and relaxing

well i needed all the TQ i had to push my heavy *** car and my fat *** passenger. I have 35hp on top of him but almost 800lbs heavier, i am fairly happy that my CLK keep hauling *** on all the japs i have ran so far.
It's time to save up some money for that tune so i can be hauling more ***.

Rev match is an option iirc and it doesn't make a shift faster, just smoother.

I would have expected him to do a little better.

Damn I thought it was going to be closer. Even if the 370z had more miles it wouldnt make a difference. I saw the Nismo 370z in person and its a sharp looking car.

The new E550 coupe is about 100lbs heavier than the CLK550 and R&T ran a 13.3 @ 108mph so if the guy wasn't shifting like his life depended on it, plausible.

Probably needs to get some miles under the belt. Those motors really loosen up after about 10k, but 3-5k will show a noticeable increase in power.

Yes about 1mph increase in trap speed. Not really a noticeable difference.
