cl65 runs 11.5@121, c6 zo6 is built with cam. will post a vid soon for fun- but the z should walk it easy.

2005 SL55

I got rid of an 06 Z-06 for the 05 SL55 and I can tell you first hand experience that the Z-06 IS faster than the SL55 but not by a lot. The Mercedes is far superior in the suspension and ride quality but then it should be for the price difference. Bang for the buck the Z-06 is awesome.

PS if you go to u tube and put in the name Ranger Z-06 he ran 10.s in a stock Z on video and runs 11s all the time.

A low 11, mid/high 120mph car vs. a mid 12 low teen mph car and it's "not by a lot"...?

A C6 Z06 would have been a closer race, no doubt. But even the C5 Z06s are no slouches, especially with some bolt-ons. Nice run; your SL probably catches a number of unsuspecting muscle cars by surprise!
