WOW, for 900 hp I would have thought the GTR would have done better. I mean 900hp? The ZR1 with rwd had the awd GTR up until 70 or 80mph and the guy used launch control! The GTR should have smoked the bejeezes out of the Z off the line and just whooped him from there on out...

um this car runs away from the zr1,do you people know how fast a zr1 is? zr1s are low 10s cars and this one most def had a pulley on it.
the gtr was also slipping the clutch bad...lol he pulls at 80(ever heard of lag) and walkes like 4-5 cl on a ZR1 that traps over 130 lolololololololol this car is trapping in the 140s folks
the gtr is rwd baised and only shifts power to the ftont when it needs it.

Not to sound like a jacka$$, but whatever it cost him to get the car to 900hp .......I wouldn't want to hear any "clutch slipping issues" or "lag" issues.Those items should have been addressed buy the tuner.I thought with the horsepower advantage that car had....I expected more.

here is the build thread its running 2 gt35r turbos.One of those on an e36 m3 can make 550whp all day.the video dosnt do it justice,hes racing a car that will beat any benz on this forum.for it to pull like that is amazing.
how much more did you expect?it pulls over 4 cls on a car that traps over 135?

Not low 10 seconds either, sorry. More like high 10's-high 11's depending on launch, surface and weather.

I can't speculate what he "most definatly" had, but a stock ZR1 will trap high 120's, very low 130's with a good driver, I think the record for a bone stock ZR1 is somwere in 133 range. No where near a 140

I ment the zr1 (stock)trapping 130+ and this gtr being in the 140s folks
and if that zr1 was modded even better for the gtr

The point is not that the ZR1 is fast and the GTR beat it, but that if you put enough hp in a school bus it will smoke an F-22 raptor! Give that ZR1 a few mods and it will beastify that b*tch. Modded vs stock is total bs. take a modded GTR and run a modded ZR1 and now we are talking....

Ummm, the GT-R straight raped the ZR1. It looks like his reaction time was slower than the ZR1's off the start, but it was obvious that the GT-R RAN away from the ZR1.

ZR1 is a stock beast and the GTR weighs in about 900 lbs more so it need all the love it could get. 
For a car out less than two years, the GTR has responded well to mods.
