here is a video of a modified cl65 vs. what appears to be a stock z06. the cl65 won. i somehow doubt that 60 hp made that much difference: http://www.autospies.com/video/MB-s-...vette-Z06-532/
and beleive me, i am not arguing that the z06 is faster, i just dont believe it to be that much faster. your run reminds me of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vV0rf-ZhP74 which is of a modified zr1 vs. a tuned cl65...

Well we can sit here and talk about how the CL65 wasn't running right and watch more videos of other people racing, or... I am willing to meet with someone who has a properly functioning CL65 AMG in stock form
I've said earlier that I was suspicious of the CL driver knowing how to downshift twice/ turn ESP off/ feather the throttle, so it is only fair if I give someone a rerun.
I am located in San Antonio, Texas, from where we can travel to a local 1/4 track to verify the condition of both cars, from there a trip across the border for some rolls.

Yep, it responded pretty well for a stock car. Wasn't it something like 650whp just from a tune?

i have both a mooded 65 and z. the z is near the top of the food chain when it comes to stock for stock racing
