No ,he did do the times he has posted according to him and witnesses. He likes to claim how his cars can either run faster or do certain feats without or b4 he even tries them.Originally Posted by propain
Wait what? The times in his sig are assumed and estimated and not actual? REALLY???
When u race him as well, the distance that he got beat forever changes by habit. He is just delusional as always.

What size is your rear tire, I have 2/ 245 40R 18 MT ET street II's used for sale. $350 takes them. I think you could easily run an 11.8 with a radial on the rear. What is your gear ratio?Originally Posted by Jons95c36amg

I was able to cut multiple 1.7x 60' times on my way to an 11.55@120 on 20" Conti All-Season tires. And that's on my SL600 with over 600HP and 700+ lb-ft of torque.
Don't use tires as your excuse not to take your car to the track.

When you do a burnout the temperature of the rubber increases significantly which brings it closer to its melting point and makes the tires stick better. Just don't over do it on street tires, I would say stop when you see smoke.Originally Posted by Jons95c36amg

I've probably made more 1/4 mile passes than Jon's eaten peanut butter sandwiches.

Whenever I'm racing a car with street tires, at minimum, I give them a hard scrubbing in front of the burnout box. Doing a full-on burnout on street tires will do nothing but tear up the VHT on the starting line.Originally Posted by Jons95c36amg

Go around the waterbox, reverse into the burnout area but don't get your tires wet. Do a small burnout/scrubbing.
The VHT on the track, and I do believe ATCO is very well prepped, will give you more than enough traction with the proper street tire launch technique

I will try that. Also lowering the rear tire psi to?Originally Posted by Benz-O-Rama

Well this is what happened in Mexico. I ran a modded srt-8 Jeep from a 20 roll to 100+. Jeep got annihilated. So I got over confident and ran him from a dig. I lost by a car. Never run a modded Jeep from a dig when you have bald tires! I spun like **** so instantly the Jeep got a 2 car jumpOriginally Posted by junior666
