C55 vs S5
Well today I needed to head out to deliver some computer equipment to the otherside of town. Along the way as Im taking a great long right handed sweeper onto the highway I notice an S5 poking along up ahead. I took note of the car and just merged on in to traffic, passed him and got up to speed rather quickly. A few minutes later I notice a set of HIDs swerving around traffic behind me. At this point I realize its the Audi and I cant believe how aggressive he was driving in traffic. 
He is lucky his car has AWD because if I had tried some of those maneuvers in my car I would have probably ended up pointed the wrong way.
Apparently the guy perked up when I roared by him earlier and wanted to show off that he has a V8 as well. Once he caught up we were still in traffic so I just let him lead the way and tried to hang back a little as he was being a little too aggressive for my liking.
Once we hit a nice clear spot it was on. we both slowed to 55-60 and had a go at it. I manually selected 3rd, he honks it off and we are rolling. I pulled a full car length by 120 where we shut it down. We did this two more times with the same outcome each time.
In the end the guy was not a sore loser and gave a thumbs up which I returned. I am very impressed at how well his and my car ran. Plus its always nice to get a friendly/close race with another German V8 randomly out on the HWY.
My mods: Eurocharged tune, minor exhaust work(no aftermarket headers), k&ns.
PS: All the events stated above happened on the drug cartel controlled highways of good ol mexico

Good runs. I just love the new look of the new Audis, they're really putting out some nice looking stuff these days....the new A4/S4 models look very nice, and the A5/S5 is one of the best-looking coupes on the road imo.

I dont know if he had any mods or not. I had extra weight in the car with my sub box in the trunk so that might be part of the reason. Also your CLK550 has a totally diff motor with an extra valve per cylinder,DOHC(20 more hp from the factory) and a different tranny than the c55. So I think this sounds about right.

Nice kill. S5 is pretty impressive, someone on 6speedonline posted that a I/E/T car puts down like 40rwhp more than stock.
Supposedly the IS-F with full exhaust picks up around 50rwhp with the stock (and highly efficient) airbox.
Apparently the V-8s are rather corked up from the factory?

Nice Kill Dude! I am a big fan of the styling of the A5/S5. I saw an S5 a few weeks ago and wondered how they run, but traffic prevented any play...

I try and make it out to that meet each month. I'm pretty sure I saw your E55 at the February gtg if its the one from your sig. You were parked on the end of a row near the street IIRC.

Good kill, those S5's should come with more power. My neighbor has a A5 2011, It looks good and very sporty but 40k for 211 hp makes it fall behind in the power department for 2011. S5 goes for 53k with 354 hp but at 3800 pounds just not enough for the money.
