clk550 vs B8 S4, and E39 M5

Based on a few results from bolt-on GTOs and a stock Mustang 6A, this is plausible. But you're not beating any E63s from a roll.
Which wouldn't give him anywhere near the 140-odd horsepower over stock he'd need to pull an E63 by two lengths, at least one that wasn't in the wrong gear or didn't have the parking brake on.

I want a Kleemann #5. Does that come with fries? Does that even exist? Large tube Headers? My, what large tubes you have.
I figured this would go nowhere when someone actually showed up to call this BS out.

Well, wouldn't be the first time....first the smack talk:
https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...ir-clk550.html
Then at the end of this splooge-fest, after many, many pages, Project C55 laments:
Well aside from the bad weather we've had, many are waiting for the Two Badblack CLK550's and anybody with a E90 M3 to step up to the plate. Especially me,my buddy's with the M5,another one with a 300C SRT8,and another with a E90 M3 and hopefully an ISF.
The M5,SRT8 and myself have run against each other several times. The CLK's are the one's that have not shown up on several occasions.

That was NOT a typo, these bozos talked smack for one full year and NEVER showed up to attempt to prove their cars could say what they said they could do. At least the mods had the good sense to finally ban their *****.

what the hell is going on, im so confused.
@Improviz i didnt get involved in that thread till a couple months ago and i have attempted many times, including a run with a member on m3post's 2012 M3 with the competition package. On that specific run i did lose but not by much. Also there was the issue with him honking and going before i even next to him or in the right gear. That run will be done again soon.
this specific run with a different m3 was done on thursday night and their were people there to prove that i did in fact beat him. so i have no idea what you are arguing about.
Also, i was never banned on MBW.

Me and project c55 will meet up one of these days. We have spoken a few times recently. We just both have to come up with a date, time and place that is convenient for us both. The place in Mexico where we used to do many of our runs has been crawling with cops recently so its a little tough to get a good spot. The OP of the E9X was CLK550 thread was also alot closer to ProjectC55 than i am.

i dont care if i win or lose any run. I will run whoever whenever even if its a car that i know is alot faster than mine. I just do it for fun.
i dont know why we are even arguing about this whole E63amg thing when i never even mentioned it. This thread for for kill i have done. Not for kills that i never even attempted to do or even contemplated doing

As to you: pulling an M3 is possible if he screws up (shifts early, late, or slowly) or isn't the world's best launcher (and running mid 12's with a manual isn't easy), but I'd think a well-driven one should take a CLK550 based upon traps I've seen for both cars and runs I've had with M3s and 209 CLK55s. But most manual drivers aren't in league with the pros, and so their times will be both slower and less consistant than the mid to upper 12's they think they'll run, so the CLK550 will definitely surprise many if not most of them.
An E63 or M5, otoh, is another matter (or a CLS55 ). And fuggeddabout those new 63 AMGs, they're friggin' insane.

You are confused, as I wasn't referring to you. I linked to a post and the comments were directed that those (since banned) guys, and to the guy who said he'd pulled two lengths on a 211 E63 but vanished as soon as CH showed up and layed the smackdown on him.

and as for the m3, jon may have a point. We did do 30 rolls and those cars dont have much torque but im still chalking that up as a win in my book only because the m3driver agreed to it lol. I will re race that m3 competition DCT one within the next month (before i get some work done) on his terms..and hopefully ill have a car follow or ill have a go pro hooked up to record it this time

I wouldn't be surprised if anything beat an E9X M3 on any day. Especially if its a manual car. I've driven both DCT and Manuals and have to say the Manual is VERY HARD to keep in the power band and I didn't like the shift throw.
I just had to step in when 12secCLK decided his car was faster than a 63. That was just too dumb to be ignored.

I think he deleted the "3" off the front and the "." before the 5 to come up with that number!

Just like many cars, the 6.2L AMG models can be beat easily if they start in the wrong gear or if there is something wrong with them. However, a properly driven and healthy running E63 should put on a good show.
I'm not even sure Cylinder Head needs to race him. We know the W211 E63s run 11.9 to 12.2 stock from previous videos and timeslips that have been posted on here over the years. Has 12secCLK ever been to the track? Any numbers that we can compare?
