Aston Martin and me part 2
https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...in-mad-me.html <---part 1
so here I am on the wantagh pkwy.....i mean in Mexico again and I see a silver flat lookin thing blasting up behind me. at first I thought it was a camaro, then when he passes, I realize it's the same aston martin that I had raced a year or so ago. it's abou 1/4 past 1 in the afternoon, and almost no cars in sight.
Man that exhaust note is so sweet sounding.....so he goes on about maybe 10 to 15 cars ahead, he probably realized too that I was the guy that beat him by a few cars, so i hear him downshift and stay in gear until I was even with him. while he was waiting for me to catch up, I too downshifted to 3rd gear. funnything was when he pulled up, and I swear, he had ---collars up, racing gloves and ray bans on
!!! I felt like ...." I'm racing Ken from my daughters barbie doll house " I proceded to count out 1 2 3 w/ my fingers and just before 2 he stomps on it!!! he was ahead by about a car and a half (again.....that car sounds so nice) it started to sound even better when I was reeling him in. I ended up about 1/2 car ahead, and I let off. Oh and I forgot to mention the sour puss face look he had as he passed....PRICELESS.....all i could say is not bad for a 8 y.o. car that cost 1/3rd of the aston.........BTW, I'm rollin on 19's
are astons really that piggish?
c32 still puts a smile on my face

had no badges but i think it was a vantage.
I hope i run into him again after some light mods i'm planning. I honestly thought I would get smoked especially with these heavy rims i got.

Pretty much all Astons are slow for the price you pay and especially when you consider their competetion. I from time to time spend a couple of weeks working for Aston so I have driven them all and they are wonderful machines but not in any way about pure performance. Even the V12 Vantage which is their rawest beast really compares more with a performance package C63, numbers wise....

Nice kill except for the ricer math statement. Yes, the V8 Vantage (or whatever) with an automatic isn't that quick. A DBS is another story vs. a C32 with mods.

The owner of the $2,000 Fox Body that has $10k in it to run 8s basically is the only winner there.
Your Evo isn't stock, either. And what does it trap?
