I was driving along the freeway when suddenly I hear some car accelerating. Then I see it was a Honda Civic and clearly he had an after market exhaust and bodykit and I am sure he had some major performance mods. Well anyway he pulls up to my right side and floors it. I was driving in "c" mode and I floored it as well. The car took some time to respond to the aggressive behavior and although the civic got the jump, the CLS still won with 3 passengers. Something about the car make people wanna race, maybe its the gold CCB's or the agressive stance but its one mean car.
We also did another pull this time I was in "s+" and in the right gear and the civic had no chance up.

i only have an e55... when modded civic tries to race me on the highway i would let them go first then blow by them.. in any mode ... lol

I'm not sure what mods he had but I think you are right, the civic was on the shoulder of the freeway and I was just minding my business, then all of a sudden I hear a very loud vtech, I look around, and its a civic. He pulled right next to me and gave me a laughing look then gunned it.

If it was loud, then he most likely had an intake at the very minimum. He could have had a catback, but all those two mods are going to do is take it from painfully slow to slightly less painfully slow.

Lol. Sounds fun. Reminds me of my 1997 civic that I had all riced out back in the day. Actually thought it was fast. My girlfriend raced me twice in her 1998 ford escort and beat me both times. I blamed it on my 18's and having the a/c on. Haha. Civics suck so bad.

When you think about it the Honda has the advantage. It may be a POS but it has less weight so the power: weight ratio comes in. Of course that is if it was modded. Like everyone said it may just have a intake and ricer junk on it. Also the CLS is a boat and 3 people in the car. Lots of weight to carry. Just another reason why I love Mercedes performance and comfort all in one!
