2003 S55 vs. M3 - no contest.
Well I've had my '03 S55 for about four months now and it has been very difficult to find anyone to go against - I guess the S55's reputation scares folks off, because I've been turned down by a lot of potential opponents. Until this morning.
On the way to work I followed an M3 on to the freeway, and at least he was game to try me on. I pulled up beside him at about 70 mph, he hit it, I dropped down to second gear, stepped on it and absolutely ran away from him up to about 130 mph (which seemed to take about seven seconds) - he was a distant view in the rear view mirror. I then slowed down to 80, he tries me again, I dust him again up to 120 mph. I slow down to 80 again, he pulls up next to me to try again, I've got nothing left to prove and let him go.
Very easy kill, but a kill nonetheless. Just wish some more formidable opponents would be willing, but haven't found any yet.

I hope that S 55 AMG does run into a 760Li. Not only does the AMG have 55 more hp, its lighter by almost 300 lbs. The AMG also has alot more torque that would help it in smoking the 760Li going from 70-120 mph.
