I was going home from a friends house on my bike. I got into the only lain to make a left and there was a Volvo in front of me it was a 7 something turbo. When the light turned green he made a left and got into the left lain ( it’s a two lain street ) I decided to pass him using the right lain, I was in first gear and as I got next to his car he punched it and so did I, I pulled on him like he was standing still tried to shift into second but nothing it wouldn’t go into second gear, he passed me with a big grin on his face. We stopped at a red light went at it again and same story I pulled on him and couldn’t get it into second gear. I got spanked by a Volvo .

BOOOOO. You could of had a ninja 250 and beat a volvo. Time to get that clutch or transmission fixed......

Were you on a bike or in your car? If you were on your bike, what kind of de-railer do you have? Did you try skipping 2 or 3 gears when you shifted? My Shimano Deore is great on my Rocky Mountain.

I am going to tear down the bike as soon as it gets cold and I cant ride it anymore. I adjusted the clutch cable and I am hoping that it will work fine. Two days later a ricer in a VW corado pulled up next to me and started to rev his engine so I had to show him why he shouldn’t race bikes. Everything worked flawlessly, shifting from first to second I pulled on the shifter so hard just to make sure it would go in to second that I pulled a muscle the pain was so bad that I eased off the throttle for fraction of a second, but I left his *** back so far that I could only see his headlights.
