So up comes a 355 Spyder ... :-)
most ferraris around here won't race you.. so I tried not to get too excited. I just got my hre's on, and I have really barely driven the car with theese wheels and wasn't sure how the launch and everything would go...
so he gets behind me and I am in the center lane of a 3 lane road, and then he comes up on my left side. We are still at a long...long red light. I roll down my window, he is with his girl of course, and I say "nice car...bet that things got some power.." he doesn't say a word..just gives me the "im about to show you something look"
Light turns green, we both nail it... I caught traction soooo quickly and got a perfect launch, I jumped him by just a tad and we were dead even until we hit about 35, then I kept gaining and gaining until we hit 90, by then I had 1 1/2 full car lengths on him
He made a turn right at the next stop light, I guess I had ruined his day.
Never mind the fact that, on paper (and, obviously, in real life) the C32 is the preordained winner. Actually, the only surpising thing is that the Ferrari hung with you as well as it did. Probably has something to do with the weight of the HREs.
I am going to the track next week..
BEAT AN EVO VIII tonight also!!! woooooweeee!
I'll post what happened right now.

Wish I had the opportunity to meet some fun cars sometime, still havent had a single race with my C32

I wont argue that you can beat a 355 Spyder with a C32 in real life, but Im wondering on what paper the C32 should be the winner?
355 Spyder / C32
Weight 1350kg / 1600kg something
HP 380 / 354
(Official 0-62mph 4.9 / 5.2)
Now, if the spyder 6spd and temper is anything like the 3200GT, I know I would get whipped by a C32 every race driving the ferrari.
But this is something you never can take away from the 355s anyway:

I just love the sound of those cars

Key factors in this race were probably the weight of the passenger in the Ferrari and a less-than-professional Ferrari driver. I cannot speak from personal experience (other than the F355 Challenge video game at Dave & Buster's
) , but I understand that the 355 takes a pretty high skill level to get the most out of it. Anyways, nice kill!

He said "Teenage punk in a compact C32 something comes up. Has a real attitude. I was on my way to the Cisco board meeting...try to ignore him."
He continues . . . "little zithead won't go away. I decide to do a hostile takeover with my 355. Give it 1/2 throttle (not really trying). Pull away from him "without drama. " The punk kicks in the nitrous. The F355 still blows him away. I shut down, and he comes flying by me with victory flags flying and a sheet-eating grin on his face, like he thinks that he actually won the race!!!! As if a C32 fartwagon would stand a chance against the Italian Stallion!!!"
Life is all about perspective, isn't it?
lol, I can't believe the guy actually posted he beat me...
it must have been his nos that he used while taking that right turn that made him think he got it...
Well, cant you go to that forum were dude
posted you as a "zithead" and lay down the truth? Lets see what happens.
Wow to a Cisco board meeting with his girlfriend. What is her purpose at the board meeting-----give head to the chairman of the board?
