And the M3 ran a 14.3 @ 100 MPH? Was that even an E46? Assuming that it was, the driver must have been inexperienced and/or the track must have been slick.

As far as the E55 goes, it ran a 12.5 @ 111 MPH. This trap speed seems a little low. Actually, it gives me hope that my modded C32 might at least not get totally smoked by an E55.

Watching the vid again, I note that the headlights are reflecting off of the pavement. Was this race done in the rain?

Hey Jon: Mods are Evosport pulley/ECU/SL55 intake/Optima Battery/18" Flik Artics (23 lbs each) with 255 T1s in the back/K&N/Denso Iridium Plugs/Magnecor wires.

Best run so far is a 12.8@112. Have raced stock E46 M3 on freeway-not even close. Mitsu Evo on freeway-not even close. Z06 on freeway-pulled me slowwwly. Keep looking for a charged E55. I expect that I will get slowly pulled, but the E55 driver will probably think something is wrong with his car.

vomit, are you running Denso Iridium IK20 plugs? If so, how do you like them?

Jon: I have the IK16 plugs, which apparently run a little hotter than the IK20. I could not be happier with them (and the magnecor wires). Maybe there were other factors at work, but I was running the quarter consistently at 13.3 or 13.4 @ 108-9 before the plug/wire change, and was running 13.0 or 13.1 @ 110-11 after the change. I know that alot of people seemed to be of the opinion that running the IK16 is too hot for a supercharged car, but my experience (with 2K miles on the clock since the swap) says otherwise.

sounds good... now im interested in trying the IK16, Simon told me that the IK20 made his C32 run like crap... that is the reason why I havnt installed them yet. Do you have any pulley/ECU upgrade with the plugs/wires?

Benzo, I think that you will be very happy with the IK16. I swear that I could feel 20 more ponies after the plug/wire change! (probably just my imagination. . . you know how it is when you change something).

With the Evo pulley/ECU/K&N and weight reduction stuff, the car really pulls hard. I think that, with a good driver (which I am not) and a cool day, it could maybe break the 12.5 barrier.
