On my way to Vegas on the 15 going north minding my own business. Suddenly a bike pulled up next to me and took off going about 90mph as I going at about 75mph. I though to myself, I am not going catch up to that thing. Fogot to mention, I was driving my 2000 C230K sedan. Then there was this red Mustang that came out of no where going at about 85mph. "Was he trying to catch up to that bike?" I thought to myself. I was kinda bored on the freeway for hours and with very little traffic, I decided to have some fun with this guy in the Mustang. So, as I saw him coming up, I cruised to about the same speed side by side. I turned to look at him, and he guns it. I was expecting a friendly eye contact... He Mustang shoved foward to about 1 1/2 car length passed me. So, I gunned it too. My 4 banger sounded like a old diesel engine, but not bad. The car down shifted and he was about 4 car length in front of me. As my superchager kicked in, I feel the pull and I was chasing him going at about 110 mph. At 125 mph I was slowing passing him. After I was about 7 car length ahead, I slowed down to see if he is willing to do it again. We raced 4 times and I embarassed him every single time. He must been very surprised to see himself got beaten by a MB family sedan. At the end, he gave me a thumbs up and speed off. True Store.

Sorry this sounds kind of funny. First you said your driving your C230K. And then you said "As my supercharger kicked in..". So what kind of a supercharger do you have on your car?

Hi James,
The C230K is supercharged & intercooled just like the SLK230K. The "K" stands for Kompressor. Unlike the C32, the C230 has a much smaller supercharer but still nice.

That's interesting. Didn't realize that MB c-class has a C230k model. Guess i don't see a lot of that around in my area. How is that model lined up? I mean is is C230, C320 and then C230K? How much HP? Sorry for the questions.

Hi James,
Actually, my 2000 C230K sedan has 185hp and 200 lb ft torque. The new C230K coupe has a bit more hp.

some mustangs are really weak, how much hp do you think the one that you raced had?

The one I raced has those ugly stripes on the side of the car. It's a new Mustang with the V6. It has that running horse emblem on the front panel so I know it's not the GT nor the Cobra (I wish). The V6 has around 180 to 190 HP.

I do have C32. I traded my C230K with my brother a year ago. The C32 is brand new with less than 1600 miles; no race records yet. I have a lot of race stores with my C230K, so I decided to share some with you guys.

As the matter of fact, I just sold my Supra (fixed up) to a guy in Honolulu in Feb. It's a white Supra in the Blitz body kit, APR wing, 5 ZR rims and very clean looking. Have you seem the guy around. His name is Mike.
