You should look for Proptery Ladder on TLC... its where they buy fixer up homes and re-sell them for a profit. It really does show you first hand how much work is really needed to turn them around. I've seen profits of 81K, 61K and 10K so far in about 14-25 weeks.

I forgot to tell you but the other day I was looking at forclosure listings and I came across this one that needed some TLC and it was at a good location the house was right on the water...so i ended up going and driving by it and i could tell that it needed some work and I thought it would be a good investment if I could get the bank to unload it at a reasonable price, so I ended up e-mailing the realtor and he tells me that the property has been tied up in court for years So now I have to look some more...
