Just a simple question guys, a friend of mine convinced me to go for the 55 due to the fact that it can be upgraded by Kleemann for much less than it would cost to buy a 65!
This is his car, what do you guys think? Worth going for it?

Hmmm.... Your friend does not have the K3 package 
And if you look in the media section of their website, there was a test on a SL55K3 w/LSD and only managed to achieve a 60 time of 4 seconds flat. With a K3 its 610Hp and I think they have some BS hp claims, ex: CLS50K... It will cost around 12K for the K3 package and another 2300 for the LSD. I dont know but you can get second hand 65s for under 160K 
Considering that a base 55 is 124K and with some options is should be around 135-140K and your spending 14-15K with out install just on engine mods. I fail to see the logic in that What you could of done is gotten a SL600 and shipped the ECU off to RennTech for 8K and then had 625hp and 725ft/lbs. Hummmm... I dont know, but its your choice 
I do take into account that some like the low end grunt of the 55... but for 20K more you would have a car that could blow anything out of the water with the Kleemann ECU... I mean were talking about 700hp

However, where I live.... a V12 is pretty much useless as I will rarely be able to stretch her legs!!! And V12 have been well known to suffer under hot conditions.. eespecially a twin turbo one!!!
I guess a Kompressor upgrade on a 55 would be pretty much useless without the LSD to go with it right?

haha we went to the friend chicken place and it was 11 somethin at night and that place was PACKED i swear we were in line for 45min I thought we were gonna get shot or somethin their were all these people staring at me cuz i was the only white person their I swear I thought I was gonna get jacked....ok deal if you take it their ill jump off a cliff
