I agree, and I agree. I spiced it up a little with some bling (see below), but you can't have everything you want in a car with this performance for the price you pay for it.

All I know is that my fathers stage 4 evosport w211 e55 cannot keep up with me except for off the line (street tire to street tire) because that damn traction control in the benz is too far advanced for this lowly ford. On the highway from a 60-120 roll, I easily put 5+ cars on him and continue to pull as we go faster.

Stage 4? Ok, dgussin, listen-- Im going to have to be a bit rude, but I call bull**** on that. Now dont get me wrong, your Cobra is fast as hell, but to take out a stage 4 E55? Can I ask a few questions to which you will truthfully answer?

1.What year is the E55?
2. A. How much hp/tq (E55)?
B. How much hp/tq (Cobra)?
3. What mods do you have on your Cobra?
4. What 0-60/1/4 times do you claim?

Im sorry, but didn't you claim, if I recollect correclty, high 12s for your Convertible Cobra? Whats your dad starting out in 5th gear?

4) I haven't been to the track yet because I dont have a rollbar currently and I wouldn't even get passed tech in. If I could get traction It will run 10.90's @ around 128ish on my street tune and 10.60's @ 132ish in race trim. I really couldn't speculate about the 0-60 because I have no way of measuring it, but my guess would be somewhere in the 3's.

Take a look at this vid of my buddy allen's 03 cobra coupe. he is running the stock eaton 1.7L blower with some upgraded pulleys making about 15lbs of boost and a 60 shot of n20. Waitwaitwaitwaitwait a minute... a stage FOUR E55, only pushes out 500HP!!!!!! What happen!? They add an exhaust and call it "Stage 4"!? Whats Stage 1!? A "Evosport" License plate on the back!?

I have an MKB SL600 Stage -1, and Im pushing out at least 520. ITs actually not even stage 1... so you might want to show up to thist meet, and race a real tuned E55-- Vic55 has, ironically, an Evosport E55 and pushes out somewhere near 600HP from what I've heard, should be a good match up. Anyways, thats pretty lame for the "Stage 4".

How can my MKB Stage 0 SL600 have more HP than a Stage 4 E55??? Some major around here.

Because the V8/V12 doesn't matter, even stock the only difference between an SL600 and a E55 is about 30HP-- now on my SL600, I have one mod on it, with me? I have a cat back system-- gives me 520HP. Now, you mean to tell me, my cat back system gives me more power than a Stage 4 Evo E55, when a Stage 3 Evo E55 runs at around 600HP?

Im using that dissprove dgussins claim of his daddy's E55 Evo Stage 4 with only 500HP. Need further explanation, or you good?

Hahahaha. Whoa man, don't trust Mercedes any more then you can throw your SL across a football field. Check dyno charts or whatever, Mercedes underrates their engines by a significant amount.

Easily yes. I'm not sure how much gain the MKB ECU did, but figuring it's like the RENNtech one, you're looking at a lot more hp then you originally think if you were under the impression that your car made only 493hp.

IIRC you should have 580 hp stock. That's why I said before the difference was 80 between a E55 and SL600. I might be off 20% or so, but at this high level, who cares

Turbo's give massive amounts of gain when chipped. That's why Treynor has a high 11second S600.
