Hold on...sold out? What are you talking about? I'm on 14th on the waiting list for the TT. And where did you get those figures. Porsche hasn't even released the official prices yet. But yes, it should be around there. I was told 85K-100K for the TT. As the the Cayenne S, it even has a bigger engine than the X5 4.6is. The V6 model for the Cayenne is not official yet but rumor has it that it'll be out after a year or so once the S and TT comes out.

One more thing. It's a good thing that the Cayenne is coming out. Now, BMW and MB have to compete with this car which will (in a few years) make our cars even faster.
Neither the X nor the ML will be able to compete. We'll have to wait and see what they come up with next. Can't wait.
And I love the front...I think once we see it in person, it'll be a great car. The size of the car looks small in these pics but it's about the size of the MDX.

Again, official prices are not out yet. I don't care what that article says (it may be correct but who knows). Just spoke to my Porsche dealer in Greenwich a minute ago. He also said that I would get my TT within three months of the official release.

Personally I think the Cayenne is not a model that Porsche should be making, but it's there, so that doesn't matter, but I have heard rumors that Porsche is developing 3 or 4 new models - like a sport sedan to compete with the M5 and E55, etc, which I think is definite cheapening of what used to be a sports-car-only company.
Anyway, it can work to the better of the ML if MB starts listening up and makes the next ML a superb quality machine, and maybe the 55 can get the SL55's Kompressor so it can nicely compete with the TT Cayenne and the X5's highest-performance versions if more come out.
Assuming they could engineer this "ML55K" to match the SL55K's power, etc., wouldn't it be in the HP, torque, etc. range of the Cayenne TT?

Est. MSRP: 103,400.-
MB ML55 AMG: 342 HP/ O-60 mph: 6.4 sec./ 376 torque @ 2,800 - 4,500 rpm
MSRP: $66,565.-
Estimated savings: $36,835.- which buys a C-320!!
For me, the choice is clear:
ML 55 AMG and a C 320, - instead of one Cayenne TT

I would definitely agree with you on that point. I was just saying the ML55K stuff to see if those who would want the ML55 to retain the "world fastest production SUV" title would be satisfied by that kind of setup.
Not that it really matters though anyway
