My DIY Euro Bi-Xenon Pictures!!!!!
Here is the outcome of my DIY job a couple weekends ago, basically I heated up the glue and baked the headlamps apart and broke off the orange reflectors, It's different, I like the all chrome look. Let me know what you think, you think I should keep it, or shouldn't of messed with. Oh yeah, and no condensation!! All in all, it costed me $6.00!
P.S. I also did the DIY ML55 grill upgrade with silver spray paint, clearcoat, and painters tape! Sorry, the car is dirty!
ENJOY!

I'm confused....what did you do? Are you saying there is a way to get this look from the stock, non bi-xenon headlamps?
Hmmmmmmmmmm
Please enlighten me.

The stock headlights have amber reflectors, what i did was elminate that so that they emulate euro-spec headlights, which have the clear reflectors.

Wow...looks amazingly clean. I like it. But be sure you have plan B on the
lights, state DOT or Fed may mandate amber turn signals. so you may want
to silver-ize the bulb (or buy them that way) in case you get a finger waggin.

I didn't put them in an oven, i used an industrial strength heat-gun to heat up the OEM glue, and with the help of some friends, used a flat head to pry the lens from the housing.
I wouldn't recommend this DIY unless you REALLY want to do it, only because it was a pain in the butt, and it leaves amber glue residue when you crack the reflectors out, thus you gotta take a small paint brush and paint over the little glue splotches with chrome paint. It's very small, but if you closely examine it, you can see the imperfections, but its okay, im happy overall...
DIY time: 3 hours
Number of people utilized: 3
Equipment: Industrial strenght heat gun, flat head screw driver, business card, chrome spray paint, detail painting brush.
I'll post the DIY one of these days.

I just went to Walmart and went into the hobby section, bought Metallic Silver spray paint and a can of clear coat (both the small cans) and put 4 coats of spray paint and 2 coats of clear coat.
