Toc Toc - Clunk Noise when hit a bump

Hi,

My truck is a 2002 Ml 320 with about 60k on it. I had the dealer replaced the two front lower ball join + the two tie-rod under warranty. However, even with those replaced, I can hear a light tuk tuk clunking noise when I hit a few bumps one after the other at about 15mph. It does not sound tight at all. anyone know what might be wrong ? The noise is coming from the front and I don't feel like if there was anything loose in the steering, just the sound (kinda deep tuk tuk noise).

Thanks

I had the same except it was from the rear. They replaced the rear coil over shocks to fix. Also replaced the tie rod ends.

I agree with the earlier post that it could be torsion bars, my truck had same prob, just needs to be tightened up!

If it is not the torsion bars, then check the shocks which can be loose enough to allow lateral movement.
