I have an 01' and handles are gettin tired lookin. Anyone here get and put on those chrome door handles or the other cups. The cups I don't like. I wanna know the difference in appearance and type of quality if any most that I have seen on ebay are in made of plastic but I want metal chrome ones for the feel! Any input would be appreciated! Pics too!

I agree...the chrome handles will add a nice touch.

Yeah good idea. That wouldn't cost much either. But there is different texture between the sheet metal and the plastic stuff so it might not look right unless you sand them. I don't know though?

I bought them(w/ option of no key holes) and installed them....they look great!! Really nice shiny touch on the doors!

No, they're not plastic(Aluminum chromed, I believe)...I looked all over prior to purchasing them--here's the link that I find relatively cheaper(not much of an eBay person--bad experience once):

Engisoft and other sites also carry them--but cost more.

At Engisoft, however, there's this chrome grill--very distinctive expression for ML's...(thicker/wider)....I really like it--but am debating on whether or not I should get them...for a simple reason, I wonder; will there be enough air flow through (especially in hot summer time) as compares to "honey comb" one?
Any opinion on that?

i just bought these... and they look great....simple to put on and look cool... I say go for it....they are chrome coated plastic...with good sticky tape on the back...my kit came with good cleaner and primer to ensure a good clean stick.... for the price you really cant go wrong.. oh yea...carpartsdiscount.com has them for 67 bucks not 120 like other places...and there shipping is cheap too!!!!!!
