Hi, im new here at MBWorld, This is my 2000 ML320, I just had this new exhaust system installed last week. I think it looks pretty sweet and it sounds great too! I will be removing the hitch soon so that rear looks cleaner. The subs have been in the car for a while but they also sound great!

Ya it was custom bent and everything. They are Rockford Fosgate's, and I have the same Rockford Fosgate Amp.

Nice exhaust setup. I agree that the hitch has got to go to clean up the back a bit. Those fosgates look mean, what are they? Two 10" ers?

Ya i like the stuff and it sounded pretty good new. One of the subs is making a rattling noise now and i think i am going to have to replace them both. I will probably keep the same amp setup tho

Is it just me or is the cutout on pic 5 not square?
It also looks like the inner tips are higher than the outer tips. They could fix it by heating it and twisting it or by rewelding it.. I think it is pretty tough looking though once a little cleanup is done.

Its not exactly square no, but the tips are the same height im pretty sure of that, its tough to tell from that pic because of the angle its at. I have a straight through muffler, the noise level is pretty high but that is what i wanted.

Really interested to know what muffler you used, # of inputs/outputs or the model #. A pic of the muffler itself would be good too.
Is there any interior resonance or drone in a certain RPM range?
And the dreaded question...have you noticed any power gain with just this mod?
