they DO make green filters for the MLs,
I have it on my Ml500, dun expect hp gains, (other option is theres things like ITG cold air cone filters)
resonator wise, back a few months they were selling a bunch of supersprint resonators for the W163.
chip wise, check powerchip.
i'm pretty sure u can do a lot more, but i leave my ML's performance pretty much stock.

did a lil reaserch on the ML resonator i was just wondering (im guessing) theyre 2 resonators and both have to be removed? and this will help me get the sound I am looking for? also is it possible to put them back on if I dont like the sound? is it too loud? or only loud when you open it up? Has anyone ever done this but kept the stock exhuast
BTW i have an ML 55 not to confuse anyone cuase i didnt mention it before.. at least i dont think i did

oh man... thanks for the clarification
Do underdrive pullies(evo sport), Custom Exhuast(previous owner had everything cut off and had a magnaflow muffler put in, sounded sick) I recently had pipe bent up for an intake, I need to fabricate a bracket for it, Also do a power chip ECU

my car has no resonators on it... both were removed with the stock muffler and replaced with a magnaflow muffler... My advice, try keeping the resonators and adding the magnaflow

Best bet is to just stick with messing with the muffler... I would not advise messing with the air intake since doing so my actually result in HP and TQ loss. The ML intake was build very long for a reason to increase low down HP and TQ. Some people with modified air intakes have had MAF troubles from having the MAF become dirty often and needing to be cleaned to having MAF damaged and needing to be replaced.
Back to the muffler from what I have read most people go to a local muffler shop and buy and have them install it.

i love it..it sounds so sick.. now thats with the magna flow and the resonators removed? i wonder what it would sound like with just the resonators removed. or just the muffler removed..
couple things.
where can i buy the magna flow?
can i put back on the OEM muffler?
if i want to just remove the resonators where are they under the car?
ive read that there are 2 im talkin about the ones closest to the rear of the car
thanks bud

I would either remove the resonators... or change the muffler and leave the resonators
my set up had resonators removed and muffler removed...

Easiest is to remove the center muffler and have an exhaust shop build you a bolt in y pipe for about $200 - noticeable power increase with a bit more grown that is not annoying plus you drop 45lbs! I removed the rear muffler and had a single pipe made for my trip to Moab and picked up several MPG with even less noise than loosing the center muffler but since one can't by the AMG tips alone, I wasn't ready to cut the stock ones off.
I'm working on offering ypipes and bolt in center replacement mufflers very soon. The one for my '55 is on the way but I need a center muffler off of a 320 and 430 as they are different part numbers. So if any of ya'll have replaced them and kept them around, let me know how much you want for them.
