03' Interior Lighting (Replaced w/ LED)

Has anyone encountered a problem while replacing interior bulbs. I just recently put in white LED lights throughout the inside of my 03' ML 350 Inspiration Ed. The trunk, and both rear side above lights work fine. The lights up front will turn on and after a second will turn off. I cant figure out what is going on. I'm thinking it might have to deal with a computer related problem, but it wouldn't make sense, because the back ones work, and I'm only replacing bulbs, metal to metal contact! If anyone can answer my problem, please respond! Thanks.

I did this same mod to my lights. same things happened to me so I added a resistor on both sides in the dome lights. They heat up very fast when on. I went away on vacation and my uncle had my ML and when i got back my lights were shot.. I wish i had them still so send pics. I guess he had left the door open for a while and melted the bulbs melted the metal and basically solddered itself to the resonator. it was bad.. I just put back in the old bulbs in the dome lights. I have 4 new ones im going to add under the doors

u need to buy resistors (aka load equalizers)... no need to change bulbs... i'm not good with DIY so i got PIAA LEDs that had resistors built-in...
