Best Spark Plugs?

What's the next best thing in spark plugs beside the dealer? I was looking at NGK as a subsitute because the dealership charging $15 per plugs is way to expensive.

Any sugguestion?

Thanks,

Thanks,

Go to http://www.mercedes-benz-parts-direct.com/

and you can get OEM plugs for half the dealership price or cheaper for other BOSCH/NGK models. I got mine last sept at $7.74 a piece...(OEM ones) and total came to $150 ish...free shipping too over $49 and excellent customer service...they ship via UPS...

Denso Iridiums are a good choice, many AMG owners have gone to them with good results. You can find the plug of your choice at www.sparkplugs.com

Anybody do or have a DIY on this? Is there anything in particular to look out for?

Do a search on spark plug replace, there are some DIY posts out there. There's nothing special to replacing plugs other than it takes time, a few knuckle busters, and requires a good set of tools and extensions to get to rear plugs.

If you have changed plugs on others cars before, this job isn't all that different.

Spark Plug Opinion..

NKG Iridium vs. Bosch Double Platinum. they are both around the $7+ mark. Which is the better plug?
