Ride Height

![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Could someone tell me, what is the hight from the wheel center to the lower lip of the front fender please.
And also the same for the rear.
Our ML is 20" at the rear and 18" at the front,I am sure that this is not right,
So could someone please confirm one way or the other.

Here ya go...
I own a '02 ML430. Here's my dimensions:
18" - Center of front wheel to bottom fender lip
18.5" - Center of rear wheel to bottom fender lip
Hope this helps. Personally, I do not blame you for your frustration in response... it's amazing that a web site entitled "MBWorld" has an overwhelming majority of converstation in the "Off Topic" (aka: non-Mercedes) column - over 483,000 posts at last count - as opposed to things Mercedes. Whatever. There are better MB-oriented web pages for technical info.

Thanks MB-Dude,
So that means i have either heavy duty springs on the rear or something is un toward,![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
As the ML is a second user motor, i would imagine that the springs have been changed !,Because it came from a construction company owner, with 20k on it.
It was only because i parked next to another 2000 model that i noticed some differance. and i needed to comfirm which end it was, as theres were 19" all around.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Thank you.
I must argree that the off topic section does get used a lot on here,
but you would have thought that someone besides your self would have replied as well.![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
But if there is any input, from anyone else, it would be welcomed, after all it's only a matter of going outside with a tape measure, and it would help not only me but anyone else who may have the same problem.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Front springs
I have a similar problem, and the front spring is "bottening out" very easy at the smallest bumps.
Are the springs known to be weak?
Luda.

Fortunately there are no front springs on an ML,There are torsion bars which can be adjusted with a nut.
If you do a search for "ride hight".In other forums there may be help.
I know i found it some where, but i carn't find it at the moment.
Wolfgangs pages are very informative.
