Exclamation I need your advice on this 2001 ML320 carfax report before buying

I am in market for a used ML and heard different things from different people and all sums up to ML from 1999-2001 are very bad but still like to try one b/c of the budget I have. I saw this posting on the web and looks like it's got some electrical, emmission, and transmission service ALL within the warrently period, I'm not sure what these services really mean Do You? With current mileage of 83k what do you think is a good offer to buy this vehicle?

What is wrong with yours? Why are you selling it? Where is your ML located and how much are you asking for? Leave me your contact info. I'm in NYC.

Here is a link...

I live in OH, but work in NYC.

I bought this one new and have OVER-serviced it and it shows. I got too busy to put it on ebay, as there has been interest locally. It is back on the stock 6 spoke sport wheels, the ML55 wheels and the Mille's are in the classifieds for sale.

slcvr6@earthlink.net if you want more info. Thanks.

Very nice looking vehicle but price isn't within my budget. Thanks and good luck with it.

No problem. My only advice is below...

On the ML, you get what you pay for. If you can't get verified service records that show it has had the common faults resolved, fuel pump-power steering-window switches-cats, I would steer clear and buy something other than an ML. They aren't cheap to fix when they break, and cheap ones typically need work. Good luck in your search.

So far I haven't seen one ML out there for sale that are problem free. What's the deal with ML benz? New MLs look great, I wonder if they are improved, or are they just like their predecesor?
I'm looking into ML b/c I have an E class and am familiar with some parts and experience replacing them.
I'm now looking into Lexus RX300 or Toyota 4Runner. Thanks you for the advice.
