I finally caved in and bought a set of OEM projector's from this well known seller on E-bay and they are enroute to me

His name is Tim (Ebay ID: hotimlong)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB..._promot_widget

He stated the projectors use an H7 bulb so where can I get a nice H7 HID bulb/ballast kit for these lights? I'm sure many of you have done this upgrade so any advice would be appreciated!

My cousin did the same thing with his ML, he got a 4600K HID kit from ebay for his new headlights and the output was amazing and looked OEM

post some pics when you complete your install

Waiting on UPS right now so just trying to get the parts in order....

Now I have to find an H7 HID kit (want to use 6000k since that seems to be a good mix between blue and still have visible light).

Are the ML320 headlights easily removed without taking the front bumper off? Any DIY?

there are two "lips" under neath the head lights... when you pop the hood, you take them off...then just unscrew the bolts and the lights just pull out

I already have the ML55 AMG grill (bought from another member on here) so the car is slowly coming together.

Projectors will arrive next thursday and I'm going to try and pick up a 50watt Prolumen H7 hid kit for the lights.

Will post pics of the whole install so stay tuned! Also got some more "toys" off E-bay for the ML so very excited!

I found someone to turn on the foglights for me via the computer. I have bulbs but one queston. Can the bulbs be inserted without removing the headlights?

foglights or headlights? foglights shouldnt need the headlights to come out regardless.

if you are changing bulbs on the headlights, then yes, you must remove the head lamp

I found a couple of sets on eBay.de. The good thing on there is that most of the MB parts are OEM unlike our eBay. Go check it out.

would you be interested in selling me your head lights if you purchase the BiXenons?

Edit:

Just searched ebay.de and ebay.com... Nah, def not spending 1500-3k for bi xenons... I can buy a bixenon HID kid and make em work in the headlamp housing...
