Angry I have a issue to resolve, AMG vs Brabus..

I don't know alot about these two but would like to know more. I would like to know which is better in quality, products, engine tunning: AMG or Brabus?

Suggestions or opinions

As you have probably found out. Everyone has their own opinion about everything but the fact is, everyone here thinks they are right and thinks that the next guy is a complete fool.

Think about it for a minute. If MBUSA thought that Brabus was better all-around than AMG, don't you think they would switch? Probably not.

The AMG's are all hand crafted and beautifully thought out...not too much and not too little.

Brabus is cool but sometimes they make the car look a bit too freaky as opposed to classy like it's supposed to be.

I would go with the AMG

I think that the AMG kits look better. Not quite as aggresive.

Brabus! AMG can't offer all the possibilities of Brabus and you can't have engine kit from them for a used car, with brabus there's no problem. The 5.8 conversion is perfect for the ML class.

IMHO i think that the Brabus ML kit looks better than the AMG kit. I have a tendency to like over-the-top kits thought .

The Brabus Cars are really expensive in the Uk

AMG are like BMWs "M" models

Brabus are more like Alpina, real specialists and expensive.

The Brabus ML270 Diesels 205bhp cost more than the AMG55 347hp in the Uk.

Brabus ML270~D4 205bhp~333lb.ft choice of 3 from £57,995.00

ML55AMG 347bhp, 376lb.ft £51,690

Brabus almost rebuild the car when the modify them , they are very well built and some of thier stuff looks great, but they are just way too expensive.

Sorry folks, but I like Brabus or RennTech for performance, AMG for interior, and Lorinser for exterior. But thats just me. Over all I like Lorinser:

Chris: I emailed you a few times last year. It is nice to see your ML evolve into what it is now. How did you fabricate the intake tube? I really like the simplicity of a Brabus kit.

Eyceburg: Wow...opposite of the simplicity of a Brabus. That is really over the top; especially with the 22's. All I can say is BadAss! Are you ever going to get rid of the Gucci panels? Lorinser is definately overt! Eyceburg, how did you lower your ML. Did you cut lowering springs? I am running 19's with 285/55/19 Zeros (they didn't have 285/45/19 yet at the time) and they are a bit big. But, I really like the lowered look.

Sincity, sorry i'm keeping the Gucci panels. As for the springs, they are Lorinser sport springs. No cutting, standard.

Oh...ok. Still a BadAss vehicle! I guess the Lorinsers are lower than the Eibach? I think the Eibachs give a 1.4" drop and the H&Rs a 1.25" drop. I'm not sure about fender and 1/4 panel clearance since I have 285/55/19s.
