Thanks, JCM5! Haven't seen that one before! All I've seen before are the photo-shopped pics here. That one is substantially different.
The next model will have uni-body construction, right? I really think that is a mistake! The "truck" chassis currently used seems much better suited for towing, "off-road" stuff, etc. - not to mention the safety aspect of it. As good as it looks, at this point I'd rather stick with an old one and just modify it!
What do you think?

The first photoshopped pic (the green one) - the front lights are interesting but most of the other components are either taken from the current ML or just made up. IMO the rear end of that picture is nothing like what the real production car - especially the lights that this picture hints at. But it's an interesting photoshopping.
The second pic, the one with the circular lights, has been around for about 2 and a half years on the web - spy shots show a car that looks nothing like that.
Anyway - these are all nice ideas but we won't get a clear picture any time soon - the next ML will be coming in MY2005, which is late 2004, so MB still has 2 years till reease.

added the 2nd picture (rear shot) and it looks longer and larger than the current model. ( maybe because the Toyota Sequoia, Lexus GX470 and New Nissan SUV base on the full size Titan truck are getting bigger)

Actually that photo looks more like the upcoming GST than anything else - at least the body style - a long SUV-ish vehicle that looks lower than a normal SUV. Recent spy shots of the GST have shown that it will be a huge vehicle, bigger than the Vision GST concept vehicle.
I've seen the various angles of this photoshop and I don't particularly like it. For example the rear lights are chopped versions of the Maybach's lights in the picture that is posted above. And the rear square styling doesn't match MB's new theme, which was shown by the Vision GST's rear upper portion as well as the production E-Class wagon.

I certainly hope that it looks like the second third picture shown...the first two would just turn me off of the car...not to mention that horrid color.

The second one looks better. Serisouly, that color is hideous. Will they be keeping the same call numbers and engines or changing them as they did for 2002? Does anyone know?
