22's Menzari's Z 04 - Chrome
So i just pick up a set of 22 Menzari. Z04

22 8.5 F/R
off set +35
I got it for Dirt cheap. NEW. Got hooked up by the place I worked at.
Im getting it for 2100.00 CAD with tires brand new.
Basically the tires cost 1000CAD and rims cost 1100CAD
I was thinking Black with polish lip, but my boss decided to order the chrome instead. So since, hes giving it for my so cheap i wouldnt mind chrome also.
I just recieved these rims today at the store, and they look much better in person.
I know these are not high end rims like brabus or HRE.
Hopefully i can get these installed before summer.
I love these rims alot, I know there heavy and not 3 pcs. I got them for warehouse price, so im not complaining.
I bought these rims already, and dont intend to refund them, so if there are any comments b/c they look bad, ect pls keep them to yourself thanks.

Not a fan of chrome on silver. But if you're into those wheels, congrats. The best part of this? You can now throw on some AMG centercaps and keep the theme going! Keep stuntin' yo!

i would go with black, that was my first choice.
But I still dont understand why ur taking this personal.

you are going to get opinions both good and bad... thats what you get for posting it on an open forum...
Im not sure how I feel about a 22" wheel on the W163... I havent seen enough to really know if I would like them in that size... as for the wheel... I like the wheel design, although Im not big on the chrome... The black would have been a definite 2 thumbs up I think.
Just because they are chrome doesnt mean you cant refinish them at a later date and time... just make sure to lower the ML a bit when you put them on cause you are gonna have major wheel gap... if its lowered I think it will look pretty descent although a little too much on the bling bling side for my liking

Ya i know, Personally i would love the black. I understand that i would have wheel issue and gap also.
My boss ordered the chrome ones instead of the black. and the chrome one arrived already, in the store looking at me everyday at work. It actually looks better in person than picture.
But i would definately get that style, I can probably order a set of black in if i dont like it.
Good and bad opinions are opened, but its just the sarcasm he was giving was just unecessary.
Ive seen 20,21, 22 on a ML before and 20,21 are jsut ugly(no offence to the others)
Im getting all sizes for the same price basically, so mine as well go big or go home.
My buddy has 22 on his rides with 265tires, and his ride was just more stiff and bumpy.
My boss is giving me 285 on the tires so its gonna look much wider.
Lowering would be the next step, but the winter here is longer than summer, so im still depending on that. Although i get NEW bilstein shocks for only 300 a set. from the distrubuters, i can always wait on that.
But i know for a fact that the style of chrome would look nice on the ML, unlike the other style are just too (gangster?) I like the sporty style and classy.
So i think i might go with chrome =\ I see ppl with CLS55 on chrome rims like my style and it looks hot.

Like i said, i would choose black if it was in, but since he is giving me the price of what he paid for, i dont want him to order another set in and not being able to sell it out.

Getting my rims put in tomorrow just in time for the meet on Sunday.
unfortuantly it is chrome.
I still love them alot. I got advice from alot of ppl and they told me to get chrome.
Hopefully it would change your minds if its on the car.
He gave me a great price. 2000CAD with tires. 285.

Here are some of the pics i took with my phone..
not that great quality but ill get a better cam soon.
so i bought the 22 in chrome- (i actually like the chrome better IMO)
sitting on 285,35,22.. too late for any changes now.
All i need after this is Lower the car about 2inch with HR or Eibach and Bilstein shocks
space it out about 25-30mm HR
and FENDER FLARES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is what i really want to know, What should I do first, they are both the same price.

I think i saw Victorious ML320 on 22 and lowered with out flares, it still looks great..
My upcoming mods for sure are, Lowering ---->QUAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!---->flares----> Spacer---->

you might want to look into the mods you do a little more... the W163 ML doesnt have front springs... it gets lowered via torsion bars...

I have H&R lowering springs on my 55... total drop is about 3" when all was said and done... after I took my roof racks off it looks like my car is riding about 5" lower then a non AMG Stock ML
