possible to have command center play video?
i was wondering if there is any way that i can get the command center screen to show video. i already have a monitor on the headliner so i was thinking of routing the video wire to the front somehow. is this possible?

ha ha, in fact
Kenny is the one who sold me the monitors. Its an Audiovox size 5.6 I pick that model due to ease of instalation, it came with a "Y" harness one input from DVD and two Out put for the monitor. It's not that hard I took my time installing it and I enjoyed it;-)
Sorry, I don't have a write up installation instructions but I can show it to you when you are ready. LMK
email me when you have time.

I was looking in BENZO magazine, and there is a company that specializes in turning your front dispay to a TV/DVD display. I was told that the module and installation would cost around $1000.00. I would've considered going that route because it very clean and stock looking, but theres no dealer around my area that has the knowledge of gutting out the monitors. I would have to travel to Las Vegas or southern Cali to get it done. I'll more info on the company when i can find the clippings.

The company people normally go to for nav-to-video mods is Nav-TV, which is located in Brooklyn, NY and has dealers in other areas.

BTW it's about $1000 IIRC for the ML's MCS - they have to physically hardwire the video connection. For MB's other models, which use the COMAND system, it is much easier as COMAND already has built-in support for video (meant for the Euro market, which has an OEM tv-tuner option) so it's just a new module that's required. But the MCS has no built-in support for video, so that's why it's more expensive.
