Recall 2011090001- cruise control function may not disengage when the brake pedal is tapped dealer will replace brake lamp switch.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration info is at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/recalls/results.cfm. You can enter by vehicle type and model year, or by the NHTSA recall campaign number, 11V208000 (which is different from the MB recall designation). The data below is for MY '00, but is the same for all the years covered.

ML 320
Brake switch recall
Hey Konigstiger, I had the cruise control fail on my ML 320 (2000) model the other day and I noticed the brake lights were permently stuck on. I read your post and started looking at replacing the switch myself.
I then happend to call my local Mercedes dealer to check about the recall and they told me to bring my car in the next day and get it fixed. That was done today and thanks to this forum MB World and your posts....look forward for more informative posts....
