New ML for 2004?

Dealer says that the ML will carry on unchanged (except for nav on the base 350) for 2004. Can anyone confirm this??

I thought it was going to be refreshed, but he says in 2005. I don't think he was trying to catch an immediate sale because I came in looking for a C230 sedan (he did say that a minor mid-year facelift was due for the C-class - he didn't know for sure what, but speculated it would be either lights, interior, or wheels.

For the '04 ML, it appears the only change is the integration of Sirius satellite radio, which will visually only be a little button on the MCS (along with the ability to use satellite radio) - no other notable changes.

And if you really wanted integrated satellite radio in the ML without an FM modulator, you could just buy a 2004 MCS and put it into your ML.

2004 is the last year for the current W163 ML. W164 is debuting in 2005 model year, which means delivery starts late 2004.

Regarding the C-Class, it just had a facelift for 2003 model year - new lights, interior components, and the addition of the C230K and C320 sports models, as well as the C320 coupe, in addition to the adding of 4Matic as an option for sedan and wagon models (not on the coupes).

According to www.jesmb.de, the C-class will be refreshed in Feb 2004 with new seats, instrument cluster, and clear-lens headlights (like the CLK). The site is in German, but you can use babelfish to translate.

The only significant change for C Class in 03 is the clear bi-xenon option. The did add the 320 and 230 sports sedans and C320 coupe, but the look the same. Just upgraded seats and suspension.

I'd consider the addition of 4Matic to be a significant change...
