to duel or not to duel is the question
great now I have my V8 but it sounds like a.....mercedes...nice a quite. ok
well how about a little growl to the bite. what can be done?
was told if Im to duel it (really just split a f t e r the muffler) I will have to get rid of the spare!
this does not sound to good of an idea.
so this leaves just a puny exaust tip chromed or split. ( so-so )
any surgestions guys?

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
i got a v8...and had custom quad exhaust installed...i have to tell you... it was the best move ive ever made. the sound is still mercedes, with a severe growl when you get on it.... GO FOR IT!

Well my question is still .... what have some of you done to inhance the sound for the ML.
a mfg. or pic would be nice to gain a better idea of options.
thanks for all your help.
This weekend will be busy....will be installing my bixenons, new door seals and so update the look on my rims Ive installed SL55 center caps, with the chrome star.
pics will be shown soon.
also planning a supercharger from HPS.

a car that can't do the throttle reset.
custom exhaust... new free flowing muffler... removed resonators... new piping to two mufflers that flow to four exhaust tips....
s/c is overrated in ml.. only good for app. 35hp

Go for it. I have a 99 ML 430 also, i love how the engine is quiet during normal driving conditions, the sound when I gun is good too, but can always be louder. I'm thinking of putting in dual exhaust too, check out Brabus their pipes look *****in'. Kind of like the ones on the X5 4.4 .
