Tune up parts for W 163
Guys,
struggled with the search function. My 2001 ML 430 was in for a "CEL" and the estimate came back $1200 for plugs and wires. Is there a preferred tune up kit or parts supplier alternative to dealerships that are a reasonable value?
been a great car so far, maintenance has been deferred thus far.

Bosch plugs for your car are about $7-00 each. You need 16 of them. About $112-00.
Wires around $150. You will need to buy the spark plug cable spanner for about $ 30. It will take you about 1,5-2 hours per side.
Total about $300-00
3 - 4 hours labour.

Any links for the Spanner ? or wires ?
I guess they charge $200 an hour labor then eh ??
