Does anyone know if 05 ML is coming out this year or the next?

Yes of course the W164. You can order the W163 Final Edition from april production until dezember 2004.

Ups sorry my mistake I think the W164 won't come before 2006. I know we've one year without an ML nor W163 neither W164 that's what we tell our salesman and clients.

 

That stinks. I am really looking forward for the W164 stretched edititon (7 passanger )

 

I seriously doubt MB would do that (have a whole year with no ML)...

The GST (R-Class) is scheduled to begin production late this summer, so that means the W164 is coming along with it. Everywhere (all the MB news sites and car media) they say launch this summer - plus, if it was a 2006 release, the test mules would not reveal as much of the styling as they do...

The W163 is overdue for a rehaul - the ML was launched in '97, which makes the first ML's almost seven years old...

The W163 will be produced until dezember 2003. At spring 2005 you'll be able to order the W164, the new ML.

Hmm...December 2003 was three months ago - and W163 production is not over yet.

Here's a link to some spy pics. This information says spring '05 production start, with MLX (long wheelbase 3-row) 3 months later. Multilink air suspension for more travel and greater articultion. 232-245 hp ML350 or 288-292 hp (going to 326 hp 4-valve later) ML500. ML63 w/ 476 hp rumored for 1/06.
