To learn the correct replacement----post your VIN

PS: you wasted your money by not checking for the correct part first!!

How was it determined that the module was faulty?

What were the code/s numbers?

Explain the problem you are having.

C1025 seems to be the main code
The problem is Normal brake pedal travel but poor braking effect on the rolling road it has enough pressure to register enough to pass the MOT test, the rollers only equivalent to 4mph, out on the road doing 30mph and it is struggling to stop, according to Mercedes I should be gettin 500 lb/ft pressure on front brakes only getting 250, and on rear brakes it should be 250 lb/ft only getting 125 , so each wheel is only getting 1/2 what it should get.
I have changed the servo, master cylinder, all flexi hoses even fitted new rotors and pads all round no different.

I think we have a description issue as the VIN does not show the vehicle has an ABS system---do you have a part number or what does the module control?

Here is the ESP Control Module part # according to your vin#. The part number you supplied is no longer in the M/B system.

Yes the module could be bad, but you are not considering the fact that the codes are stored in that module and when you remove it, the codes remain therein.

Switching it to another veh. will not clear those codes unless they are read and removed with a scanner.

not a merc
You barking up the wrong tree! Ineffective brakes cannot be an electronic issue. Are you sure the brake booster is functioning? Is there sufficient vacuum supply? Basics first
