Mercedes ML 350
i have a BAS/ESP warning light problem with my ML350 2004model.

While tracing it in d bonnet, i found a tiny hose around the BAS/ESP Module that is apparently disconnected. I traced the hose to have emanated from the front wheel on the passenger's side. I would like to resolve the riddle about this hose before thinking of changing the BAS/ESP module or the motor. Please help.

You must have the codes read in the ESP/Traction Control Module with a scanner.

Please UPDATE YOUR PROFILE in USER CP and include the year and where you live.

Yes i did. But what i meant was there is no way that everyone have same problem and module goes bad for everyone. Did more research yesterday and found out that many of ML class the wire that goes to the plug of the ABS module rubbing on the frame and damages the wires, that what causing the bas esp light to come on.
No reason to be so cocky, scanner wont tell you the problem like that. We here to help each other. Thanks anyway

Sorry, that was meant for the original poster. But you should update you profile to include the 2001 ML55.
