.How is it calibrated? i installed mine without doing any calibration, but what i noticed is when i turn the knob half point on the hot side it blend door opens all the way, there is no point to turn it all the way to the right because the actuator will be keep trying to open the flap more but it wont go nomore. Probably that is why they go bad so often.

Igor, when you received the new motor, did you connect it to see if it worked without it being in place? If you did that is a big no no because it is set to zero at the factory

I pushed up the whole right side of the dash up and unscrew 4 nuts on the airbag and pulled it off the 4 bolts and gout it aside but didnt unplug airbag plugs. Why you ask?

What knob are you referring to?
Because you were supposed to completely remove the upper section skin to avoid any damage.

As long as the car was not running, the position of the temp. dial has nothing to do with your problem. But the condition of the white lever does. Was it installed correctly to the motor and was it not broken.
You might have to look at the motor again.

The motor itself is different on my 2001 ml55 and the plastic arms are ok and everything moves free, nothing broken. Engine wasn't running. I will take the glow compartment off and check everything one more time. will take pictures and maybe a video.

Only the levers matter.
If there is nothing wrong with the installation, I would get a used Denso A/C Controller from ebay
Remove both covers under the I.P. Under the left side of the console the controller is held in place by one screw. Remove the controller from the right side. After installing it,first test it without reinstalling everything

BTW, i noticed that my windshield gets really foggy if i dont run A/C, maybe that is a symptom of something? Thank you mr Dundee for all ur help!!! hope you not tired of me yet.

When you check the movement through the glove box, note that it will operate with a slight delay. Start in the off position then select A/C and carefully note the movement.
