Charcoal Canister Shutoff Valve for my ‘05 ML350 mercedes
I was told that I need to replace the shut off valve to The charcoal canister and was I was told that Mercedes benz doesn’t make that part anymore! What can I do? The check engine lights comes on and at times the gas doesn’t go all in when refueling, it backdrafts. Please help!

So I encountered this problem for the first time and I thought that nothing at ML could surprise me ... Even the friends I talked to never heard of it. Interestingly. I'm all the more interested. I looked in EPC and WIS to get information, but I didn't learn anything there either. Only that I have to release the holder so that I can remove the valve + release the hose - nothing more, so I need more information.
In the photo, I'm interested in where hose no. 2 goes? And what is No. 1? On the opposite side is the hope hose from the tank. I don't understand what the gas does. Thank you

That part you referenced is for W164.
I got the correct part yesterday from a salvage yard.

If you cannot find this part at a salvage yard, here are two places I found supplying them new. (Pelican calls it an EGR)
I paid $25 for the one i purchased at a local salvage yard.
