Also, I agree with those that question the overall tone of some of your responses. This guy is just trying to sell his headrest monitors...if you don't want them, don't buy them.
In addition, I will add that the price may be a bit high. I found them with a quick google search for $319 apiece new.
some comes with:
remote - no remote
2 AV in - 1 AV in
Audio in - no Audio in
setting ie: brightness, contrast etc... - some dont have non of that
some stay on constantly - ( remote ) for on and off
swivel - no swivel
headphone - no headphones
list goes on n on n on...
and as for rims:
rivets - no rivets

And, the reason LCD screens are pretty much all the same is, because the actual LCDs are sourced from only a few places. All the 7" TFT screens come from one manufacturer. The 7.2" screens also come from another manufacturer, but aren't really TFT. And so on.
Rims come from all different manufacturers (well, a handful) so a lot actually are different. But when you compare many from the same actual manufacturer (like Ronal once made rims for AMG, Carlsson, Brabus, and so on), then they tend to be more alike.

Once again, you prove my point. The things you say are all true. However, I was merely pointing out that those things you say are things that drive consumer purchases. Put simply, some items are more expensive than others because of ADDED FEATURES and QUALITY, and most importantly, MARKET DEMAND. If you feel like you've proven something because you simply rehashed some potential differences in these products, then more power to you. However, you should know that all you really did was prove my point further. If you can't understand that, then maybe you should re-read this thread. If that doesn't help, try some classes on manufacturing, marketing, merchandising, branding, and international commerce and economics.
As for the LCDs having the same manufacturers...sure, you're probably right. However, this can be said for a lot of things we buy everyday.
Like I said before, upon further inspection, it seems that the screens are a bit overpriced as used goods. However, I found humor in the direction the thread was going.
Respond if you wish, but you should know that this, in my opinion, is a futile argument. I'm out. I can tell by the tone of your posts that you think you are right. I know that nothing I say will change your point of view. Besides, arguing via message boards is juvenile, so if it makes you feel better, then proceed.
They are sold though, $385.00 to a Toyota Sequia
Thanks for all the negativity though. Appreciate it.
By the way, let me know when those square ones come in 32" so I can get them.
