Welcome Kevin,

I don't think the 2 are related.

For the srs light staying on, check under the rear seats for a disconnected buckle switch.

Do you have a scanner?
If so, what type?
You'll need a professional-grade foxwell or an autel scanner to be able to read and clear srs codes.

For the radio, our 99 c230K radio stays on with the key off. Removing the key, it turns off when the door is opened.
For our 02 w163, radio only comes on when the key is in position 2, and when turned off, the radio dies out.

Test yours for the configuration as Im not sure how the 04 w163 radios are setup

Is it with the key in the off position or is it the key out of the ignition?
